3. BASIC ALTERATION TAKES ABOUT 4-7 DAYS. URGENT ORDERS (ADDITIONAL 30%)
WILL TAKE LESS THAN 3 DAYS. WE WILL NOTIFY YOU ONCE THEY ARE DONE. ALTERED GARMENTS CAN BE PICKED UP FROM OUR STUDIO OR WE CAN ARRANGE TO POST BACK TO YOU WITH ADDITIONAL POSTAGE FEES.

All measurements should be measured in cm/ inches.

FOR ONLINE ORDERS:

Contact us via WHATSAPP (+060123163698). We can guide you from there. You can include a piece of perfectly fitting clothing for us to copy as a guideline.

 

Upon fulfillment of alteration order, you may now send us your clothing via tracked delivery. To ensure the best fit for you, we will call you to acknowledge the instructions once we receive your parcel and before any alteration starts. Your clothing will be in safe hands with our experienced seamstress and our dedicated team.

Within the next 4 - 7 working days, your altered clothing will be packed and sent out to you. You will be informed when your parcel is ready for deliver and the shipment code will be provided for your tracking convenience.

DOOR TO DOOR ALTERATION SERVICE

We provide specialised alteration and styling service at your doorstep with minimum of 12 alteration pieces per location.

 Book an appointment with our stylist seamstress or tailor now. 

SHIPPING POLICY

Store Policies

There are a few different options for you to choose. If you are based close to our studio you are welcome to drop/collect your items during our working hours. Alternatively you can self-post your items direct to our workshop (the address is on our homepage. We recommend that you send your items on a tracked delivery. Or you can always get grab deliver services to send them to us, that will save on time and hassle.  All shipping fees are borne by the customer. 

All orders are returned by J&T courier service tracked delivery unless you choose to upgrade and pay more for a different option. We are not responsible once your items are in the hands of a third shipping party when delivering to and from us.

REFUND POLICY

CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel your order for a full refund any time before any alteration work is done. 

IF WE CAN'T COMPLETE OUR WORK

In the rare scenario that the item reaches our workshop and we realize we can't complete the work, we will remove the relevant charge from your order and return it to you together with any other items that have been repaired or altered. If it is the only service in your order, then we will return it to you immediately.

IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY WITH OUR WORK

It is very rare that customers are not happy with our work, but if you are disappointed when you receive your item back, please get in touch with us straight away so that we can fix it if possible within 5 days once we sent out or that you have collected. Usually we will either redo the work free of charge but we do not pay for the extra postage fee incurred both ways, or if this isn't possible we'll ONLY refund you the cost of the work excluding the postage and new materials involved.

WHO WE ARE

At Olio Folio Studio, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the visitors to our website, and our customers. In particular, we want you to know that Olio Folio Enterprise is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that sort of thing. But just in case you don’t believe us, in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

MAILING LIST
We use a third-party provider, Mail Chimp, to deliver our marketing emails and newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our emails. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

THIRD PARTIES
We use third-party couriers including Malaysia POSLAJU, J&T Courier Services and Grab Deliver to collect and deliver orders.

As such we are required to share names, contacts and addresses with these organisations.

FAQ

If I choose a standard shortening for my trousers hem, will you use the same colour thread?

On all standard alteration, be it shortening or restoring broken seams, we will match the closest colours with your garment. Our aim is to conceal all alterations and make your garment look as near to new as we can! 

If I have two pairs of trousers for alteration, do I have to pin both pairs?

Pin each pair of trousers separately for clarity, unless you can specify the exact inside leg measurement you need for shortening for each pair of trousers.

Do I need to pin both legs on my trousers for shortening?

You only need to pin one leg. Remember to leave all the pins in as well as the additional measurements and instructions. This generally applies to all types of garments that needed alteration, only pin one side.

How can I measure the alteration accurately so I can wear my trousers with different pairs of shoes?

Trousers should usually stop at the top of your shoe heel or a finger's width off the ground. Find a length which suits all the shoes you want to wear the trousers with, and pin the trousers up accordingly for us to alter.

How can I get my clothes to you?

There are a few different options for you to choose. If you are based close to our workshop you are welcome to drop your items during our working hours.

 

Alternatively you can self-post your items direct to our workshop (the address is on our homepage and in the confirmation email). We recommend that you send by tracked mail as we are not responsible for your items when they are in the hands of a third delivering party.

 

Or you can always get grab deliver services to send them to us to save on time and hassle.

How do I receive my clothes once the work is complete?

You can either collect from our workshop during our working hours.This is free of charge. You can find our address at the bottom of our homepage. 

 

If you'd like your completed order sent to your home or work address, please specify when you place your order. We charge a RM 8 postage fee for return postage within West Malaysia and RM 15 for East Malaysia. For same day delivery using Grab Deliver, you will need to arrange for the pick-up/drop off.

Do you provide an express service?

All normal alteration will take at least 4 - 7 days depending on the complexity of work required. We can usually provide an express service (less than 4 days) on request, at an additional cost of +30%. This depends on the order size and the work required. Please contact us to enquire about our express service.

How do you fit items for alterations?

We recommend that for shortening services like sleeves, trouser hems etc, you turn the hem over and pin the item with a single safety pin to show us the new length you'd like. For resizing garments the best method is to include a clearly marked item for us to copy - for example, for a shirt alteration, send us your best fitting shirt to copy from. Do choose clothing reference of the similar material and style. You can also include measurements in the notes before you add the service to your basket.

How do I book a fitting or consultation?

What if I'm not happy with the work that's been done?

Is your work guaranteed?

We offer a one time re-alteration and touch-up service. Customers are advised to contact us regarding their fitting issues within 5 working days upon dispatch/ self- collection.
